The first leg of the “Naming the Body: A Queer Woman’s Restorative Mapping of the Self” (@mouthfeelpress, 2026) tour ended last night with my heart grateful and filled with pride and love for all venues, sponsors, volunteers, bookstores, creators, and readers involved. There is so much talent and generosity out there. By the state of our country, it is easy to lose perspective. Please, don’t lose sight of your communities; we have each other. ¡Nos tenemos! @auntlute and @medicinefornightmares hosted the last event of my ”Naming the Body: A Queer Woman’s Restorative Mapping of the Self” (@mouthfeelpress, 2026) PRIDE MONTH TOUR. It was truly special to share the mic with @kim.shuck, @ajuanmance, Ginny Berson, and @antmenpm. We brought THE LIT 📚 and MCs @charliejaneanders and @baruchporrashernandez, THE LAUGHS 🤪. Feeling grateful 🥹🙏🏼. I have no idea how this happened, but I will be sharing a wonderful community space with so many writers whose work I admire 🥹. Gente, what are you waiting for? Come and share el orgullo with us 📚🥳🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Hubo duende and a lot of xingonería at the QUEEREST.LIBRARY.EVER: the @sfpubliclibrary inside the Hormel LGBTQI+ Center. Our event TU PALABRA Y MI CUERPO DE LENCHA / YOUR WORD AND MY DYKE BODY was everything we had hoped for, and then some 😊. We might be taking this show on the road @maribel.martinezx, @liliana_hueso_photographer. The naming of ourselves is barely getting started 🔥🔥🔥 And just like that, a brave soul wrote the first review in @goodreads. Grateful for anyone willing to share their reading experience. It takes a village to put a book out in the world 📚🙏🏼📚❤️ This is tomorrow! Join us!
